In a move aimed at enhancing rail travel convenience for the people of Saurashtra, the Indian Railways has taken the decision to extend the routes of six trains to now include Rajkot in their itineraries. Previously, these trains were operating to and from Ahmedabad. This announcement was made by Minister of State for Railways and Lok Sabha MP Darshana Jardosh in a tweet. The following trains have been included in this extension to incorporate Rajkot:
