Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA) will construct an underpass near the Ognaj Junction at a cost of Rs 65 crore. The work on this 6-lane underpass is expected to be completed in 2 years. Currently, an average of 70,000 vehicles move through the Ognaj Junction. The construction of the underpass will significantly reduce the traffic load at the junction. According to the executive engineer of AUDA, the approach length of the underpass will be kept at 741 meters, with 158 meters towards Vaishnodevi and 537 meters towards Science City.
