The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has planned the development of Lotus Park on a plot of approximately 25,000 square meters at S.G. Highway near Dev City in Gota Ward, North-West Zone. Around Rs. 20 crore has been allocated for this project in the current year’s budget. Lotus Park, or Garland of India (Kausum in Sanskrit), will be a symbolic structure showcasing the flowers of all states of India in one place. The design of this project is inspired by the lotus flower, where each petal will represent the state flower of a particular state. This project aims to strengthen the idea of unity in diversity and will be highly beneficial for the people of Ahmedabad, allowing them to experience the flowers of all states of India in one location. Each petal carrying the state flowers of India will be technologically controlled via tablets. ......
