The work on the 1.4 km-long Thaltej-Thaltej Gam section of the East-West Corridor of Ahmedabad Metro train services has been completed. The inspection of the route by the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety was conducted recently, and the route is likely to be operational by December 15th. This route falls under Phase 1 of the Ahmedabad Metro Rail project, which was launched in October 2022. However, metro services were only operated up to Thaltej due to pending work on this section. The delay in this route was caused by land acquisition issues, court cases, and other technical challenges. ......
