Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) is working on a plan to make several metro stations operational on the Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar route, which is expected to increase passenger footfall. This expansion, set to take place in the next two to three months, aims to improve connectivity and frequency. The Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar Metro Yellow Line has 21 stations, of which seven are currently operational. Authorities now plan to open seven more stations within the next three months and an additional seven by the end of 2025. Earlier this week, minister Rushikesh Patel informed the state Assembly that Phase 2 of the metro project would be completed by June. .......
