A person from Ahmedabad who was a bootlegger and jailed under PASA later changed his appearance and started farming of Ganja (canabies or marijuana). Villagers of Lunava village of Tharad taluka had approached police and complained that a person namely Vasantgiri who claims to be a Mahant (chief priest) of Shitla Mata mandir in Mali farm area of the village would consume ganja and offer it to others too. The villages complained that the person had become a nuisance fo the village. Tharad DySP SM Varotariya and other police staff rushed to Shitla mata mandir and raided the place.
