Saint Bramhaswaroopdas Swami of Swaminarayan sect has tendered an apology through a video message regarding his controversial remarks about Khodiyar Mata of Matel Dham. In the video message, Swami Bramhaswaroopdas said, “I want to humbly convey to Khodiyarmata and her devotees, Khodaldham trust, and the temple of Khodiyarmata ji that my intentions were not to hurt religious sentiments and beliefs of anyone. However, if somebody was hurt because of my words, I, Bramhaswaroopdas Swami, with folded hands, seek an apology and assure you that it will not be repeated.”
