 Two IAS officers from Gujarat, Manish Bhardwaj, the former municipal commissioner of Vadodara, and Vijay Nehra, the former Ahmedabad municipal commissioner, have received orders for central deputation. Manish Bhardwaj, who currently holds the position of Principal Secretary for Narmada and serves as the CEO of the Gujarat State Disaster Management Authority, has been posted as the Deputy Director General (DDG) at the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) within the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. He will serve in this capacity for a period of five years or until further orders.
