Prime Minister Narendra Modi will welcome Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu in Ahmedabad on January 17 when he begins his India visit. The PM is slated to dedicate the International Centre for Entrepreneurship and Technology (iCreate) based in Deo Dholera village on Bavla-Rajkot highway to the nation in Netanyahu’s presence. The organisation which nurtures entrepreneurship and offers mentoring and grooming to wannabe entrepreneurs was PM Modi’s brainchild. It has been jointly funded by the state and central governments and has incubated 44 start-ups till now. Both the leaders are slated to kick off the visit by visiting the Sabarmati Ashram post which they will head to iCreate where they will view startups who will participate in the 2-day ‘Start-Up Fair’ held here. “We will be showcasing 45-50 of the most innovative startups from Gujarat carefully chosen by a selection panel which will offer different domains like software, IoT and product centric firms as well.
