Gujarat government arm Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) will run regular buses to connect the city of Rajkot to the new airport of Rajkot at Hirasar starting from Sunday, September 10. The new airport at Hirasar which is officially called the Rajkot International Airport is going to start functioning from September 10. The new airport is located around 36 km away from Rajkot city besides Rajkot – Ahmedabad highway near Chotila. GSRTC will operate buses from 6 a.m. on Sunday. The bus will be operated at the interval of every two hours. A one-side ticket fare is fixed at Rs. 100. More details regarding this service and its routes are yet awaited.
