Rajkot Civil Hospital undertook the operation “Rat Trap” on Saturday, resulting in the capture of 40 large-sized rats in the hospital. This action aimed to address the complaints of rodent infestation within the facility. 40 rats were sticky-trapped across the departments since morning. In response to reports of rats biting three patients, including two females, a campaign was launched in the government hospital early in the morning. A total of 40 rats were trapped during the operation, which was necessitated by escalating complaints about rats in the facility. Three patients were bitten by rats in the Plastic Surgery Department on the 4th floor of the PMSSY building. Among them, two patients hailed from Rajkot, while one was from Jasdan. ....Cont
