Plans to upgrade the city’s Ring Road 2 into a four-lane highway have picked up pace. Both the Rajkot Urban Development Authority (RUDA) and the Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) have begun preparations to widen this road, which starts in the Smart City area and connects Jamnagar Road with Gondal Road. The RMC has devised a plan worth ₹110 crore for the 9-kilometer stretch under its jurisdiction, while RUDA has outlined a plan for ₹82 crore.
