The Surat Municipal Corporation will commence road repair work within seven days. This decision follows a coordination meeting between Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) officers and MLAs addressing civic issues. Surat Municipal Commissioner Shalini Agarwal announced that road repair work across all city zones will begin within seven days. The repairs are expected to progress more quickly if the rain subsides. Surprise inspections will also be conducted to assess performance.
