On 2nd of August 2024, at 6 am the level of water in Ukai dam touched 100 m level. The highest level in Ukai dam is 105.16, while the rule level mandated upto 1st September is 102.11 m. Ukai dam is contiuing to witness inflow of over 60,000 cuescs from upstream. Barring merely 600 cusecs discharge in the canal, no discharge is being done in river Tapi, and therefore Ukai is being filled continuously.
