The Gujarat government has decided to increase the stipend for interns and resident doctors, effective from 1st April this year. Interns and resident doctors working in government and GMERS medical colleges in medical, dental, physiotherapy, homeopathy, and ayurveda courses will benefit from this decision. Graduate course students, interns, postgraduate students, and super-specialty course resident doctors across 6 government and 13 GMERS medical colleges will benefit from the decision.
