A Muslim youth was among five persons nabbed by police after an incident of stone pelting on Ganesh Utsav venue in Variyavi Lal Gate area of Surat. A large number of Hindus gathered at Saiyedpura based Police chowki to protest the incident. According to locals, three Muslim youths arrived in an autorickshaw and pelted stones over Ganesh Utsav venue. The locals captured two of them and handed them over to police.
