The Bardoli and Chalthan-based sugar factories in Surat district will not only sell sugar, bagasse, and molasses but also sell power now. Bardoli Sugar has installed a 21 MW power generation plant, while Chalthan Sugar has installed 10 MW and 3 MW plants.
