A speeding dumper truck belonging to Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) ran over a college girl near Star Bazaar in the Adajan area of Surat. The incident occurred around 4 PM on Wednesday when Shreya Jitendra Sarang, a third-year microbiology student at Sri Krishna Medical College, located behind Skate College at Athwalines, was returning home on her scooter. Near Star Bazaar in Adajan, a speeding garbage truck belonging to the SMC hit her scooter and crushed it. She succumbed to severe injuries on the spot. Following the incident, the dumper driver fled, abandoning the vehicle. .......
