If you want to get your learner’s driving licence, you will soon be able to do so from the comfort of your home. The Gujarat state transport department is planning to introduce the Home-Made Learning Licence (HMLL) system from next week, enabling applicants to take their driving theory test online from home. As part of the project, applicants will be able to book an online test slot through the Sarathi portal and appear for the exam using a laptop or desktop. Upon passing, they will have 30 days to take the track test for a permanent licence. .....
