The Vishwamitri Railway overbridge in the city has been closed for commuters until the completion of girder work for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train project. Vadodara’s Police Commissioner issued a notification stating that the bridge closure will be in effect from 1 a.m. on June 6th to 11 p.m. on June 16th or until the girder work concludes. The construction, managed by L&T for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet train project by NHSRCL (National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited), focuses on the girder segment of the Vishwamitri Railway overbridge.
