This year, World Agri-Tech has teamed up with San Diego-based acceleration fund Radicle Growth to host a Pitch Day on Monday March 19. In an industry first, Radicle will offer $250,000 investment to the winning company. Following an open call for nominations, eight early-stage technology companies will be selected to showcase their solutions at a special pre-summit Pitch Day in front of a group of high-ranking investors and agribusiness experts. An expert judging panel will select the winner, which will be announced the following day at the World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit. Radicle Growth is an acceleration fund backed by leading agtech investors including Finistere Ventures, Bayer Crop Science, OurCrowd and Cloud Break Advisors.
