The Gujarat High Court on Saturday allowed the redevelopment of Vardhman Krupa society in the Ghatlodia area of the city by rejecting objections from 50 members and instructing them to vacate their flats. The society, built in 1983, consists of 288 flats spread over 18,000 square metres. In a notable ruling, the court addressed concerns about mixed residential development as it dismissed objections related to 21 row houses, stating their consent was not required.
