As many as 1,72,576 students are currently enrolled in 453 municipal schools run by the Nagar Primary Education Committee under the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. These schools operate in Gujarati, Hindi, English and Urdu mediums and are supported by 4,586 teachers. In addition to academics, the schools conduct co-curricular and skill-based activities such as language development, STEM education, mathematics and science exhibitions, art, music, literature, oratory and sports. ........
