In view of the upcoming Fagun Sud Poonam fair at Dakor, city police have announced traffic restrictions and diversions in parts of Ahmedabad to ensure smooth movement and prevent congestion. The annual fair, scheduled from February 27, 2026 to March 4, 2026, is expected to draw a large number of pilgrims travelling towards Dakor for darshan. Anticipating a significant rise in vehicular traffic, particularly on routes connecting to the Ahmedabad–Mehmedabad highway and surrounding arterial roads, authorities have imposed temporary restrictions on select stretches. ........
