Lt. Gen. Gurbirpal Singh, DG NCC, today unveiled the recently renovated War Memorial in the presence of war veterans and local heroes who had participated in the 1965 and 1971 wars with Pakistan. The event was organized by the Bald Eagle Brigade at Bhuj Military Station. The renovated War Memorial, named the “Shraddhanjali Park” now has two newly installed plaques on either side of the Central dome where historical accounts of the fierce battles fought at Biar Bet, Point 84 and other locations in the Rann of Kutch are etched.
