Information & Communication Technology (ICT) has emerged as the top course in BE/BTech admission season 2026 of ACPC in Gujarat. Among fifty top courses/colleges that had the highest cutoff, ICT course offered by Dhirubhai Ambani University in Gandhinagar remained in top. ICT course is mainly about computer science and engineering, but also covers connected topics from the Electronics and Communication branch. The course thus prepares students for a bunch of cutting edge technologies. ICT is offered by only a few other colleges, including Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU), Vishwakarma and Adani. It is learnt that LD Engineering college is also mulling to start this branch from next academic year, looking at the opportunities attached to it. Meanwhile, the other courses such as Computer science, Computer engineering, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical etc. also remained among the top fifty courses in demand. Among top universities merit-wise were Dhirubhai Ambani Univesity, Nirma University, LD Engineering College, DDU Nadiad, PDEU Gandhinagar, Vishwakara, MSU Baroda.
