Gujarat has secured three national awards for excellence in organ donation and transplantation, with the state’s top government hospitals being recognised for their contribution to the field. The awards were presented at the 16th Indian National Organ Donation Day ceremony held in New Delhi on August 3, 2026, marking National Organ Donation Day. During the State Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Wednesday, Minister of State for Health Praful Pansheriya presented the three awards to the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and other ministers.
