The temple administration of Bhadrakali Mandir in the old city has put up a board regarding Bhog (prasad), urging devotees to bring only prasad made by people of Sanatan Dharma. The board put up by the temple trust states, “A humble request to devotees to note that the prasad offered to Mata should be made by people following Sattvik and Sanatan Dharma.” The Rambali Prag Tiwari Trust Chairman, Shashikant Tiwari, told the media that devotees bring prasad to offer to Goddess Bhadrakali. However, it has come to light that some of this prasad is purchased from shops owned by people of other religions. When prasad is bought from such shops, its purity cannot be ensured. .....
