India’s semiconductor ambitions received a major boost as Tata Electronics and ASML signed a partnership to support chip manufacturing in India during the visit of Narendra Modi to the Netherlands. Under the agreement, ASML will provide advanced lithography tools and technology for Tata Electronics’ upcoming 300 mm semiconductor fabrication plant at Dholera, Gujarat.
