With the aim of strengthening law and order in the state and taking strict action against anti-social elements, the State Police Chief, Vikas Sahay, held an urgent meeting today with all Police Commissioners, Range Heads, and Superintendents of Police through video conference. During the meeting, strict instructions were issued to prepare a list of anti-social elements in each police station area within the next 100 hours. This decision, aimed at taking strict punitive action against anti-social elements, has been ordered for immediate implementation. It has also been clarified which individuals should be included in the list. The list will include repeat offenders involved in crimes against persons, extortion, intimidation, property-related offenses, illegal liquor and gambling businesses, mineral theft, and other anti-social activities.
