Kapodra police have arrested an individual for allegedly throwing acid on a paan shop owner after he refused to lend cigarettes to the accused. According to details from Kapodra police, Rampyare Ramsnehi Kushwaha, a resident of Anand Apartment in Satyanarayan Nagar, Mughkindra, Kapodra, runs a stall named Pandit Paan Center near Satyanarayan Nagar Society. On Monday night, around 8 pm, while he was at his shop, the accused, Rakesh Babu Baraiya, arrived and asked for cigarettes on credit. When Rampyare refused, Rakesh initially left but returned shortly after with a bottle of acid. Before the shopkeeper could react, Rakesh threw acid on him, causing severe burns to his face and head before fleeing the scene. ........
