A major security scare gripped Gujarat today after anonymous bomb threats were sent to several judicial institutions, including the Gujarat High Court and lower courts in multiple cities across the state. Courts in Ahmedabad, Surat, Rajkot, Bharuch and Anand reportedly received threats warning that they would be blown up using powerful explosives like RDX, triggering panic and a massive security response. In Ahmedabad, the City Civil and Sessions Court received the threat via email, following which court proceedings were immediately suspended and the premises were evacuated. Judges, lawyers and litigants were safely escorted out of the building. Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) teams and dog squads rushed to the court complex and began detailed search operations. ........
