Gujarat government will open GST Suvidha Kendras at 12 places across the State as a pilot project. According to Finance Minister Kanubhai Desai, a biometric-based Aadhar authentification process will be conducted across the State for those seeking registration under the GST law. An applicant will need to go to GST Suvidha Kendra with the uploaded original documents. With the latest equipment and trained staff, the process of identification of an applicant will become speedy and smoother, said the minister.
