Amid a probe in a case of alleged use of beef at a popular meat samosa shop in Vadodara, a total of seven men have been arrested so far, including the shop owners, police said on Monday. The mutton samosas sold at the shop were allegedly stuffed with cheaper beef to earn profits. In a raid Saturday, Local Crime Branch of Vadodara city Zone 4 – acting on a tip-off – seized a total of 113 kg of beef as well as 152 kg of the filling prepared to make the samosas from the popular ‘Hussaini Samosa’ suppliers.
