The long-awaited flight between Rajkot and Indore commenced its operation today. An Indigo flight landed at Rajkot airport from Indore at 8:20 am this morning. Subsequently, the flight took off from Rajkot back to Indore. The number of flights has been on the rise at Rajkot airport in recent times. Indigo has initiated a direct flight to Indore from today, ahead of the full operationalization of Rajkot International Airport in Hirasar. The inaugural flight from Indore was welcomed by a water cannon salute upon landing.
