Vehicle owners across Gujarat, including Ahmedabad, will no longer need to visit an RTO office or depend on agents to update the mobile number linked to their vehicle registration documents. The Transport Department and Traffic Police have introduced an online facility through the Parivahan portal, allowing motorists to update their registered mobile number from home. The facility comes with new updates to the central and state transport system. Motorists can now update their mobile number using their smartphones and also check pending e-memos linked to their vehicle. Fines for traffic violations can also be paid online through the official government portal. .......
