Concerns over food safety have resurfaced in Surat after laddus ordered through the quick-commerce platform Blinkit in the Pandesara area were allegedly found stale, rotten and covered with fungus. The sweets had reportedly been ordered for distribution as prasad among staff during Ganesh Chaturthi. According to local businessman Praveen Gupta, he had ordered 1 kg of laddus through Blinkit for his staff. However, after receiving the parcel and opening the box, he allegedly found that the sweets were in an unfit condition and had a foul smell. .......
