In yet another alleged case of “Love Jihad,” local police have arrested a man for allegedly concealing his religious identity and luring away a married Hindu woman from Kathlal taluka in Kheda district. A complaint was registered at Kathlal police station after the woman, a mother of two from a village in Kathlal taluka, went missing. Acting on the complaint, police traced both the woman and the accused, Nazim Ansari, within a short period and brought them back to Kathlal for further investigation. Kapadvanj Deputy Superintendent of Police (DYSP) Vikramsinh Solanki said police are conducting a thorough probe to determine whether any larger network or conspiracy is linked to the case and to identify any other individuals who may have been involved. According to police, the accused, identified as Nazim Ansari, is originally from Bihar’s Vaishali district and had been running a puncture repair shop near Raj Shakti Hotel on the Ahmedabad-Indore Highway for the past two years. Investigators allege that he introduced himself locally as “Raj” or “Raju Thakor” and concealed his actual identity. ........
