In a move to fill the shortage of teachers in government and grant-in-aid primary schools, the Gujarat government’s education department has launched a large-scale recruitment drive under the Samagra Shiksha scheme. The state plans to appoint around 16,000 Gyan Sahayaks on an 11-month contractual basis. The online application process commenced on Thursday and will continue until June 17, creating a significant employment opportunity for qualified job seekers across Gujarat. As per the official notification, the recruitment will be carried out for government primary schools, grant-in-aid primary schools, model schools, and aided ashram schools functioning under the Tribal Development Department as well as the Social Justice and Empowerment Department. ........
