The Government of Gujarat has inked an MoU with the Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO) for long-term financing of Rs. 1 lakh crore for various infrastructure development projects across the state through a strategic partnership. As a follow-up to the recent high-level meeting between Chief Secretary M.K. Das and senior HUDCO officials regarding the provision of adequate financial resources for infrastructure projects being implemented by various state government departments, HUDCO will extend long-term financing of Rs. 1 lakh crore to support these development initiatives across Gujarat. The funding will be utilised for the implementation of key projects across the state, including Gujarat Metro Rail Phases 2 and 3, expressways, sports infrastructure, and the creation of world-class modern infrastructure in Dholera. Additionally, the state government signed another MoU with the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad. ........
