The Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) has increased its fleet of air-conditioned electric buses from 50 to 80 with the launch of 30 new buses under the PM e-Bus Sewa scheme on Wednesday. The expansion aims to improve public transport services and reduce vehicular pollution in the city. The new buses will operate on various city routes, providing greater convenience to daily commuters, including students, working professionals and senior citizens. The expanded fleet is also expected to improve service frequency and reduce waiting times for passengers.
