All the shoppers were evacuated from V R Mall in the city after the mall management received an email threat about a potential bomb blast. VR Mall, the largest mall in the city, received an email today stating, ‘Save as many as you want to save, they will be blasted’. The management promptly informed the police, who arrived on the scene immediately. Umra Police, along with the Crime Branch, Special Operation Group (SOG), and Bomb Squad, all reached the location.
