History-sheeter and controversial social media influencer Kirti Patel, who is already facing multiple criminal cases, including extortion, criminal defamation, conspiracy, and criminal intimidation, has now been booked under the Gujarat Land Grabbing (Prohibition) Act, 2020, for allegedly occupying a rented flat in Surat’s Parvat Patiya area for nearly seven years. According to an FIR registered by the Puna police, Kirti rented the flat in 2019 but allegedly neither executed a formal rental agreement nor vacated the property despite repeated requests from the owner. She is also accused of threatening the owner and her family whenever they sought possession of the flat or demanded rent. According to the complaint, Manjula Patel rented out her flat in 2019 to Kirti Patel without a formal rent agreement after Kirti allegedly avoided submitting her Aadhaar card. The owner claims Kirti neither paid rent nor vacated the flat despite repeated requests after her release from jail in an earlier case. The FIR also alleges that Kirti threatened the owner and her family whenever they sought possession of the property or demanded rent, despite several complaints made to the Puna police over the years. ........
