The road-widening work in the Tarsali area of Vadodara, which has been started to ease traffic movement, has reached its final stage. As part of the project, the existing stretch of road from Dwarkesh Farm in Tarsali village to the National Highway is being reconstructed with a durable RCC surface, and the old road has been removed. Hence, the authorities have imposed a ban on the movement of heavy vehicles on the main stretch. The authorities concerned informed that the construction of the RCC road from the Tarsali National Highway to the Sardar Patel Statue has been completed. The newly constructed RCC road stretch between Shri Pushti Nagar Primary School and the Sardar Patel Statue is under the curing process, which is necessary for the long-term strength and durability of the road, officials said. Thus, only two-wheelers and light motor vehicles will be permitted to ply on this stretch till June 15, 2026. .......
