A Bapunagar-based builder has filed a complaint with Adalaj police, alleging that three men armed with baseball bats intercepted his car in Zundal and threatened to kill him unless he paid ₹2.5 crore over a disputed land agreement. According to the complaint, the 34-year-old builder was returning home on Thursday evening when a black car without a front number plate blocked his vehicle near Signor Heritage. Two men carrying baseball bats allegedly tried to force him out, struck his car, and demanded ₹2.5 crore, claiming rights under a 2020 land agreement. They also allegedly threatened to vandalise his project site. The builder said another car blocked him from behind before the accused fled towards Adalaj. He then called the 112 helpline and approached the police. .......
