The Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Service (AMTS) recorded its highest-ever working-day ridership and its highest single-day revenue in more than a decade on Monday, with 6.31 lakh passengers travelling on its buses and generating nearly ₹39.8 lakh in revenue. According to AMTS data released on Tuesday, 6,31,761 passengers used the service on August 10, the highest working-day ridership recorded by the civic transport undertaking. A total of 970 AMTS buses were in operation, generating ₹39,77,935 in revenue, the highest single-day collection recorded by AMTS so far. ........
