Commuting to Ahmedabad’s Apparel Park Metro Station has become easier and more affordable with the launch of two new AMTS feeder bus routes. Ahmedabad Mayor Hiteshbhai Barot on Saturday inaugurated Feeder Route 8 (Circular) and Feeder Route 9 (Anti-Circular) to improve last-mile connectivity for metro passengers. The two routes will operate from Apparel Park Metro Station (New Cotton Mill), covering a total distance of 9.95 km before returning to the station. The services will connect the metro station with several residential, commercial and public-use areas in the surrounding neighbourhoods. The routes will cover key locations including Bhalkiya Mill, Grain Market, Madrasi Mandir, L.G. Hospital, Krishnabagh, Maninagar Terminus, Dakshini Society, Ashapuri Society (Awakar Hall), Gujarat Housing Board (Haripura), Hatkeshwar Circle and Amraiwadi. AMTS has deployed two buses, one each for the Circular and Anti-Circular routes. A total of 32 trips will be operated daily, with 16 trips on each route. The buses will run at a frequency of around 40 to 45 minutes. ........
