Stones were pelted at the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Vande Bharat Express between Utran and Kosad stations near Surat on Tuesday evening. One suspect has been arrested in connection with the incident, and an investigation is underway. According to Anubhav Saxena, PRO, Vadodara Division, Western Railway, the Vande Bharat Express (22961) was travelling from Mumbai to Ahmedabad when the incident took place shortly after the train departed from Utran. The stone-pelting reportedly took place between 6:30 pm and 6:45 pm. Railway officials said stones hit coaches C6 and C10, causing cracks in the glass window of one of the coaches. No injuries to passengers were reported. Following the incident, railway authorities informed the Government Railway Police (GRP) SP and deployed personnel from the Railway Protection Force (RPF) to the spot. Police and a Rapid Action Force (RAF) team also reached the area as part of the security response. ......
