The under-construction Surat Metro network will be connected to the upcoming Surat Bullet Train station, with the Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) inviting bids for the construction of a 4.4-km extension of Metro Corridor-II from Saroli to the upcoming Surat High-Speed Rail (HSR) station at Antroli. The civil contract has an estimated value of ₹356.54 crore, excluding taxes. The extension will comprise an elevated viaduct and three elevated stations, Kalpataru, Ambaba College and Surat HSR. The project is aimed at providing direct Metro connectivity to the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail station and improving last-mile connectivity to areas including Chedcha, Vedchha and Antroli. ........
