A Barbeque Nation outlet in the Parle Point area has come under scrutiny after customers allegedly found rotten potatoes and foul-smelling mushrooms in its kitchen and recorded a video of the incident, which was later circulated on social media. Food Department officials of the Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) said they would inspect the premises and take action if any irregularities were found. The video purportedly shows customers displaying blackened potatoes and mushrooms, which they alleged were stale and emitting a foul smell. A customer can be heard questioning the quality and safety of the food and alleging that the restaurant management failed to provide a satisfactory response to the complaint. .........
